2018 Church Retreat at Mountain Lakes Bible Camp 

Your UCC church family as will spend a day together at Mountain Lakes Bible Camp. This time will be filled with opportunities for fun, relaxation, enrichment, and connection.

Place: Mountain Lakes Bible Camp, 21200 Varney Creek Rd. Klamath Falls, approximately 1 hour 10 minute drive from Ashland. Map and Driving Instructions.

Date and Time: Saturday, August 18. Morning meditation at 8:30, Breakfast at 9:00, Welcome and Introduce the schedule 9:45, Departure time 7:00pm. Come for all or part of the day.

NEW THIS YEAR – Like to camp or just don’t want to get up so early for the drive on Saturday morning? Spend the night on Friday! Bring your tent, RV, or sleep in a bunk bed in one of the cabins. Optional dinner will be served at 6:00.

Meals: Full Breakfast at 9:00, Lunch at 12:30, Dinner at 6:00. Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. All meals prepared and included in cost.

Camp Amenities: Swimming pool, zipline, waterslide, climbing wall, games, recreation field, hiking, stream, nature.

Retreat Activities: You may join in on a range of planned activities and workshops or just sit and soak up good company in peaceful surroundings. Experiences for all ages and activity levels.

Items to bring: musical instrument, swim suit, towel, sunscreen, sunhat, hiking/walking shoes, clothing for cool and warm parts of the day, lawn chair, insect repellent. If you’re camping you’ll need a sleeping bag and overnight supplies.

Driving Directions to Mountain Lakes Bible Camp – 21200 Varney Creek Rd. Klamath Falls

Via Dead Indian Memorial Highway- Take Dead Indian Memorial Highway to the stop sign at Highway 140 (past Lake of the Woods Resort). Turn right onto Highway 140. Before milepost #44, watch for “Organizational Camp” sign on left. Turn right, opposite the sign, onto graveled Varney Creek Rd. Continue to camp about 1 ½ miles. Approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes from Ashland.

Via Highway 62 and 140- Exit #30 (Medford / Crater Lake, Hwy 62). Continue straight through signal (Biddle Rd.) Turn right at the stop sign (Crater Lake Hwy) Go approximately 6 miles. Turn right at Hwy 140 (Fish Lake / Lake of the Woods / Klamath Falls). Before milepost #44, watch for “Organizational Camp” sign on left. Turn right opposite sign onto graveled Varney Creek Road. Continue to camp about 1 ½ miles. Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Ashland.
